Are Vehicle Wraps for Small Businesses?

Certified-partial

Many people think of advertising on vehicles as something done by large companies with a whole fleet of cars on the road, but a vehicle wrap can be an incredibly effective tool for small businesses as well.  Vehicle wraps are a very affordable way of reaching a large number of people in a relatively small geographic area.  For small businesses this type of targeted marketing is invaluable.

A vehicle wrap has one of the best returns on investment available with an average cost of around 4 cents per thousand impressions.  Compare that with a newspaper ad which costs roughly $19.70 to reach a thousand impressions, and a vehicle wrap is a no brainer.  In addition, most vehicle wraps last 5+ years with no signs of aging.  There are very few marketing options that have that type of long term range.

Have doubts about a vehicle wrap being effective for your small business?  The good news is it’s very easy to track how effective a wrap is for your company.  Try getting a different phone number to put on the wrap so you’ll know exactly where customers saw your information.  Another idea is to advertise a special deal or discount only on the vehicle wrap.  When customers contact you regarding that deal you’ll know they’ve seen the car around town.  Another option is to create a special landing page on your website and put that address on the vehicle wrap.  By tracking the traffic to that page you’ll get an idea of the effectiveness of the vehicle wrap.

Of course it’s critical that your wrap look good to the public, so you’ll want to be sure to use a professional to print and install it.  Infinity Signs NW has been doing vehicle wraps for businesses in the Boise area for years and our team of professionals gets the job done right every time.  A good wrap installer will protect the paint on the vehicle from any potential damage from the wrap as well as potential scratches during installation.

Seasonal Vinyl Window Graphics

Vinyl window graphics have many advertising uses, but one that is often overlooked is during holiday sales. As the calendar heads into October, now is the time to start working on holiday advertising plans. Window graphics can be used for this in a variety of ways:

  1. Holiday Hours

Many stores change their hours during the holidays, but go back to regular hours right after. A window graphic is a quick and easy way to inform customers of the changing hours that can be taken down after the holidays are over. What better way to inform customers of changing hours than to put it directly on the building?

  1. Sales Promotions

Let everyone know about an upcoming or current sale or special deal with a window graphic. Most businesses have sales or specials during the holidays or close to the end of the year. Temporary window graphics can attract attention to these promotions. When installed early enough, they can entice both early bird shoppers and procrastinators.

  1. Holiday Graphics

A festive environment is likely to make customers and clients happier during the holiday season. Happy customers and clients are likely to spend more money. These festive graphics can also boost employee morale. Work with the team at Infinity Signs NW to create beautiful graphics celebrating any holiday this season.

Open window space is begging to be used for marketing purposes, especially during the holidays. Take advantage of this space to bring in new customers, inform current customers, and welcome the changing seasons.

Vinyl window graphics are a snap for Infinity Signs NW to install, and even easier to take down once the promotional is over. Visit the  Infinity Signs NW website to learn more about using vinyl graphics for advertising and see some of the pervious graphics that have been created.

Removing Vinyl Window Graphics

Vinyl Graphics

Has your vinyl window graphic’s life come to an end? When it comes time to remove the design, the graphic could be a bit stubborn, which is a testament to how well it was installed. Follow these tips to make the process as easy and quick as possible:

Gather Tools

Lifting up the edges will likely require some tools. Find a plastic razor blade or something similar to help with the process. After it’s off, there might be some adhesive residue on the window. Purchase a cleaner that is formulated for tackling adhesive residue.

Loosen the Graphic

If the vinyl has been on the window for a long time, it can be brittle and could come off in small pieces. Use a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen its grip from the window. This will make the vinyl graphic more pliable and easier to remove in larger pieces.

Peel and Scrape

Once loosened, use the plastic razor blade to lift up the edges and begin peeling the graphic off of the window. Once this is started, it should be easy to peel it completely off.

Remove Residue

Use the residue cleaner to get as much of the adhesive off as possible. It might take some time and elbow grease, but eventually all of the residue will come off.

Clean the Window

After all that work, there’s likely to be some smudges and fingerprints. Use a window cleaning solution to get rid of any remaining smudges. Now it’s ready for another window graphic to be applied!

Not all business owners have the time or patience to remove a window graphic themselves, or they might be worried about damaging the window. In that case, call the sign experts at Infinity Signs NW. We know all the tips and tricks when it comes to applying and removing vinyl window graphics.
